What you need for a transfer, a will or probate
Three of the most common notarial procedures at our firm are transfers (vehicles or real estate), wills and probate. Preparing documentation in advance speeds everything up.
For a vehicle transfer, in general: valid IDs of the parties, title of ownership, current marchamo and RITEVE inspection, and corporate records if a party is a company.
For a will: valid ID, an approximate inventory of assets and debts, and your heirs' complete details. A well-drafted will prevents future conflicts.
For probate: death certificate, heirs' birth certificates, certification of the last will (if any) and the deceased's title deeds and assets.
These lists are orientation-only and general: the notary will confirm the exact requirements for your case, as they vary depending on the procedure and the competent authority. The complete list is on the Practice Areas page; and you can book a consultation to review your procedure step by step.
